A recording of this presentation is available on Invent Penn State's YouTube Channel.

Learn about the social impact of Ocean Integrity, and its business model of empowering local communities and women to help clean the world's oceans.

RIO was created to address the challenges of plastic waste that plague our oceans and waterways around the world. RIO’s primary mission is to end the dumping of plastic waste in our oceans and work to greatly reduce the plastic waste that is already collected there.

By partnering with indigenous fishermen worldwide, RIO is a World leader in Oceans Plastic Cleanups. RIO also has patented technology to stop all plastics in rivers including Micro Plastics. Unlike other companies and organizations that have surface skimmers that stop only plastic on the surface of these rivers, RIO’s device works throughout the water column.

Please add this session to your schedule if you will attend in person. If you plan to join via Zoom, please add "Restoring Integrity to the Oceans (Virtual)" to your schedule instead.
