Have you ever wanted to design your unique clothing brand?
Are you interested in engaging in the Slow Fashion movement to make positive environmental and social impacts?
Are you creative and enjoy envisioning ways to breathe new life into what's already been done?

Join us for a fun, sustainable, and hands-on-making workshop where Maker Commons staff will challenge groups of students with a design prompt to create a new upcycled t-shirt brand that makes a statement! We'll have sewing machines, Cricut Makers, and heat presses on hand for you to cut and apply custom designs to your wearables, cast-off shirts donated by Collegiate Pride, scrap fabric donated by Scraps and Skeins, and vinyl/dye sublimation discards donated by Maker Commons. Are you digging the 90's style? We've got retro puff paint to experiment with too! No experience is necessary, and we'll form groups when you arrive.

Be sure to RSVP for the hands-on experience. Space is limited!

Please add this session to your schedule if you will attend in person at the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub. There is no Zoom option for this event.
